Where? West Sands, St Andrews.
When? Time to be confirmed.
Date? 14th November 2008

This is one of our annual fundraising events and is great fun. Attach lights, loopy wire or anything else that will "light up the sky" in aid of Children in Need.
Wrap up warm though because it can be pretty cold even if your flying kites.

We were going to move it to the 8th for the BBC to get some video of the event, but they have said that they would need the video sooner than that now. We will keep to the original plan and stick with the 14th which means the Chill and Ride is on the 15th and the SPKA race day is on the 16th.

We were thinking it might be an idea have a voluntary donation for anyone wishing to fly.

The charge is just a donation to Children in Need via the account setup above.

Dear all,
It looks like we may need to replan the light up the sky event due to poor weather conditions forecast. Just now the forecast is saying heavy rain from 6pm with 27mph gusts.

We will update you all and make a decision later today so you all know whether to travel up to St Andrews or not.

Sorry to announce this but we have decided to cancel the Light up the Sky tomorrow night. The weather is still looking bad.

If people still wish to go along to west sands and light up the sky themselves then please feel free to do so but the TK campervan will not be there.

Will maybe try and re-organise this for another weekend possibly in the new year.
